Is it possible to search through all my schedule not just on the current calendar’s view?

Yes, switch to the Table view and make sure the filtering drop down box is set to the “No filtering” option. Another option would be use Advanced Search, which you can select from the Tools menu or by using the following shortcut keys combination: Ctrl+Shif+F.
