In such cases we recommend you to exit EssentialPIM, visit the folder where it’s located and delete the EPIM.ini file (make sure you backup it first before doing that). Start EPIM and it should now accept your new license key.
I recently renewed my EssentialPIM Pro license and now the app shows me the following message when trying to register it with the newly acquired key: "Cannot write key information".
