How does backup work in EPIM?

EPIM creates backup files in the following formats:

*.epim
*.epim.bak

Both file types are valid EPIM database files.
If you have a file with the .epim.bak extension, rename it to .epim before opening it in EPIM.

How EPIM Creates Backups

By default, EPIM automatically generates a backup every 24 hours.
These backups are stored in the same folder as your main EPIM database file.

To adjust your backup settings, go to:

Tools → Options → Backup

Here, you can customize backup frequency and other backup‑related preferences.
